Your family's data, in plain language.

When you create a Rally account, we collect your email address (so you can sign in) and whatever you put into the app yourself — your household name, the names and avatars you give your family members, the missions and tasks you create, the rewards you stock in your family store, and the history of missions completed and rewards redeemed.

We also collect basic technical information — when you signed in, what device or browser you used — so we can keep the service secure and debug issues if something breaks.

When you sign in with Apple, we receive your email address (or Apple's Private Relay address if you chose to hide it) and your name.

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, your name, and your profile photo URL.

We use this information only to create your Rally account and sign you in — never to email you marketing, and never shared with anyone else.

Rally is designed to be used by parents and guardians. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Kids don't sign in to Rally and don't have accounts of their own.

The information about your kids in Rally is whatever you, the parent, put there — typically a first name, a color, and a chosen avatar. We don't ask for birthdays, schools, locations, or anything beyond what you choose to enter, and we never solicit information from your children directly.

You can edit or delete that information at any time from your family's settings.

Your Rally data is stored on Supabase, our database and authentication provider, with standard encryption in transit and at rest. A copy is cached on your iPhone (and any other devices you sign in on) for offline use and syncs back when you reconnect.

We use Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In as identity providers, Vercel to host rallyfam.app, and Supabase to send sign-in emails. If you turn on Create by voice (below), Anthropicdrafts missions from your voice requests. We don't share your data with any other third parties.

Rally Plus lets you describe a mission out loud. It's off until you turn it on: before your first voice mission, Rally explains what is shared and asks you to agree. Subscribing to Plus or accepting our terms doesn't turn it on.

Your voice.Apple's speech recognition turns what you say into text. Depending on your iPhone and language, Apple does this on your device or on Apple's servers, under Apple's privacy policy. Rally keeps the recording only until it's transcribed, then deletes it. The recording is never sent to Rally or to Anthropic.

The draft.Rally sends the text of your request, your kids' first names, and your default reward and timer through Rally's server to Anthropic's Claude, which returns a draft mission. Your kids' account IDs aren't sent, and Rally doesn't store the transcript. You review and edit every draft before it's saved.

You can turn this off at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy & legal. If what we share ever changes, we'll ask you again before sending anything.

You can edit or delete most of your data directly inside Rally. To delete your account and everything tied to it, open the app and go to Settings → your name → Delete account. We'll confirm before anything is permanently removed.

If a co-parent shares your family, deleting your account removes you— they keep the family, its missions, balances, and rewards. If you're the only parent, your family's data is permanently deleted along with your account.

You can also export your data on request — just ask.

Depending on where you live (the EU, UK, and California, in particular), you may have additional rights — to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete your data. Email us and we'll help you exercise any of them.
